She was able to use this photo album within minutes! My wife and I live far away and wanted to find a way to share pictures of our baby with my mom. Because we don't print too many pictures and mom doesn't own a computer, we don't often send new pictures. With this new photo album, we can send my mom an SD card from our camera which she can load into the device. We also love that this device is portable so she can take it anywhere and show her friends pictures of her grandchild! It plugs into the wall to charge, so this couldn't be any easier. I have had one almost two years with never a problem. When out camping in Motorhome just take out sd card from camera and pop in viewer, with almost 4 gig of memory I have downloaded twenty trips and not even used 25%.I highly recommend this viewer. She is not tech saavy so cannot view photos on a computer. Recently I scanned all the old family slides from the 1950s up to the time we all switched to digital cameras. There were lots of them and none of us had seen them in years. Transferring them to the photo book was very easy. The only drawback is that the photo book structure is not like the folder structure on a computer. For example, you cannot have a heading "1950s" with several albums underneath. Each album is standalone so you have to label each one accordingly. It makes for many albums to scroll through. Scrolling is a little awkward because if you have several pages of albums, the cursor doesn't go sequentially through the page before switching to the next. If you move the cursor to the right along the first row of albums on a page and keep going, it will switch to the next page, top row instead of going down rows on the first page until all those albums have been highlighted...
